1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Kitiki application ("App") or visiting our website (kitiki.tv), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Safety Notice are written in English. Translations are provided for convenience only; if there is any difference, the English version controls.

2. Description of Service

Kitiki is a digital wellness application for cats. It plays calm, science-informed ambient scenes and soundscapes through most of the day, following your cat's natural Hunt–Eat–Groom–Sleep cycle synced to their meal times. Shortly before meals, the App includes a brief active segment designed to engage your cat's natural hunting instincts.

3. Safety & Your Responsibility

During active segments, the App displays high-contrast moving imagery, so a little setup goes a long way. Please keep these things in mind:

• Excited cats interact physically. Some cats may paw, scratch, or lunge at the television screen.
• Secure your devices. Please secure your television (for example, with wall mounts or furniture straps) so it cannot tip or fall.
• Read the Safety Notice. Our Safety Notice covers setup tips; use your own judgment for anything specific to your home or pets it doesn't explicitly cover.
• Release of liability. Kitiki and its creator (Anna) are not responsible for damage to devices, home, or personal property, or for injury to pets or people, resulting from excited animal behavior or from precautions not taken.

4. Subscriptions

Trial and pricing. Kitiki offers a 7-day free trial. After the trial, the App requires an active subscription, available as a monthly or yearly plan. Current pricing is displayed in the App at the time of purchase and is authoritative; it may vary by region, currency, or promotion.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current rate, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your app store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time through your app store's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.

Refunds. All payments are processed by the app store from which you downloaded Kitiki (Apple, Google, or Amazon), under that store's policies. Please direct refund requests to the applicable app store.

Changes to pricing. We may change subscription prices from time to time. Any change applies to your next renewal after notice is provided through the App or on kitiki.tv.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including the Hunt–Eat–Groom–Sleep scheduling logic, soundscapes, visual designs, and code — is the property of Kitiki/Anna and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Please don't reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the App.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App, without prior notice, for anyone who violates these Terms (for example, attempting to hack the App or misuse the service).

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Kitiki, its creator, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
