A calm, ever-changing day for your cat while you're out — an on-screen hunt timed to mealtimes, then a wind-down to rest. It shifts through the day, so your cat stays curious and settles when it's time to sleep.

Privacy Policy for Kitiki

Last Updated: July 1, 2026

1. Our Approach

Kitiki is a TV app for cats — and cats don't have email addresses. We built Kitiki to know as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, no sign-ins, and nothing you set up in the app ever needs to leave your living room.

This policy explains, in plain language, what little information the app does handle and why.

2. What We Don't Collect

  • No account, no email, no name. Kitiki has no sign-up. We don't know who you are.
  • No payment details. Subscriptions are billed entirely by the app store you downloaded Kitiki from (Apple, Google, or Amazon). We never see your card number, billing address, or store account details.
  • No cloud profile. Meal times and preferences you enter are stored locally on your device and used to run the daily Hunt–Eat–Groom–Sleep cycle. There is no account they could be tied to. (Schedule settings do appear in the anonymous usage analytics described below.)

3. What We Do Collect

To keep Kitiki running smoothly, the app sends us two kinds of anonymous technical data on all platforms (Android TV, Fire TV, and Apple TV):

  • Crash and performance data (via Firebase Crashlytics): crash logs, device model, and operating system version, so we can find and fix bugs.
  • Usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics): anonymous events such as which screens are opened, how long scenes play, and how the schedule is configured (for example, the meal times you set), so we can understand what works and improve the app.

This data is grouped under a random identifier generated on your device — not your name, email, or store account, none of which we have. It is not linked to your identity, and we couldn't connect it to you if we tried. We look at it only in aggregate.

4. Subscriptions and Entitlement

When you subscribe, the app store processes the payment and simply tells the app, via an anonymous identifier, that a subscription is active. That's the entire exchange.

5. Device Permissions

  • Keep Screen On (Wake Lock): Kitiki asks your TV not to sleep or start a screensaver while the app is running, so the wellness cycle can play continuously. That's the only special permission it needs.

6. Third-Party Services

  • Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) — anonymous usage and crash reporting, as described above.
  • Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon Appstore — app distribution, license verification, and all subscription billing, under their own privacy policies.

We do not sell, trade, or rent any information to anyone. There are no ads and no ad networks in Kitiki.

7. Data Retention and Your Choices

Anonymous analytics and crash data are retained for a limited period and then deleted or further aggregated. Because this data isn't tied to your identity, we can't look up "your" records — but if you have any question or request about data, email us and we'll do everything we can: anna@kitiki.tv

Deleting the app removes all locally stored settings, including your cat's schedule.

8. Children's Privacy

Kitiki is made for pet owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 — or from cats of any age.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we ever change what the app collects, we'll update this policy and the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app or on kitiki.tv.
